PROJECT: REBRANDING & SIGNAGE
Clearwater Mall is one of Johannesburg's foremost shopping destination brands. After having successfully opened a decade ago, the mall sought to introduce a contemporary, more legible brandmark to differentiate it amongst its peers. Based on a century old typeface, the new logo incorporates simplicity at its core, with a single wave to accentuate the name, easily transforming from the previous brand into a aesthetic modern version. With the removal of the word “mall” from the previous mark, the current brand also mimics more closely how consumers refer to the mall, simply “Clearwater".
